It Starts with Reclaimed Wood
Reclaimed wood is the foundation on which Kase Custom is built and has been a conscious choice from day one. By sourcing domestic reclaimed wood, we are keeping waste out of our landfills and giving it a new life as an heirloom quality piece of furniture. Our pieces are sturdy, practical and multi-functional by design, meant to last for generations to come.

Quality over Quantity
Each and every step and material in our production process is considered for the highest possible quality and the lowest possible levels of toxicity. Kase Custom’s focus on simplicity and integrity has guided us to using no more than 6-8 materials in all of our pieces – a combination of wood, screws, nails, wood glue, wood filler, stain, sealant, and genuine steel bracketing.
Less is More
We are always pursuing smarter, simpler and more sustainable shipping practices without compromising the pristine delivery of your furniture. All of our cardboard boxes and bubble wrap are made from recycled content, and are welcome in your recycling bin. We hand build and configure each package to reduce the need for excess padding in standard size boxes. It only makes sense that our packaging be as custom as our pieces.
You will also find that all of our assembly and care instructions are digital, in an effort to cut down on single use of anything, as well as be easily accessible whenever you need it.
Creating a Healthy Sanctuary
Building healthy, safe furniture came into focus for Kase Custom when we gained a new level of awareness around the harmful chemicals used in conventional furniture manufacturing. Kase Custom's 100% handmade furniture is protected with non-toxic sealant to offer superior lacquer-like protection with absolutely no harmful chemicals. Our pieces of furniture are safe for everyone, including the chemically sensitive. We won’t send anything to your home we wouldn’t want in ours.
